How to send a tip

Mention @chaintip directly after a mention of the person you want to tip. Example: @bob @chaintip

Check your inbox

Chaintip will send you a message letting you know which address to send
Bitcoin Cash to.

Send Bitcoin Cash

Use a mobile phone or other wallet to send Bitcoin Cash to the address.

How to claim a tip (you only have to do this once)

New message in inbox

Receive a notification from chaintip about some Bitcoin Cash you've received.

Download a wallet

Download a Bitcoin Cash wallet.
Click "Receive" on your wallet to obtain your receiving address.

Reply with receiving address

Reply to the notification from chaintip including only the Bitcoin Cash receiving address.

How to tip an issue (to create or add to a bounty)

Mention @chaintip

Mention @chaintip in an issue comment. Your mention can optionally include the number of days you'd like your tip to be available for. Example: @chaintip 5 days

Chaintip will send you a message letting you know which address to send

Use a mobile phone or other wallet to send Bitcoin Cash to the address.

How to claim a bounty (available bounties)

Fork the repository

Fork the repository which creates your own version of it that you can work on to fix the issue.

Create a pull request

When you've completed the work create a new pull request with the text @chaintip fixes #issue_no in the body.

Win the bounty

If the project maintainer decides your pull request is worthy, they'll merge it and you'll get sent all the tips on the issue that have not been returned to their senders.
